The United States Senate voted 81-18 today to end the three-day shutdown of the federal government. In ending the shutdown, leaders of both parties agreed to keep the government open until February 8th. They also agreed to work on details related to the outstanding appropriations bills and immigration reform. Be sure to stay tuned.
